Welcome to SaxFingers.com

My vision for this web site is to show tight shots of saxophonists playing their instrument. I believe that there is a lot to learn from seeing the fingers move and the energy that comes from a live take. One of my greatest flaws is musical commitment anxiety. I have had only one self- produced CD in my 30-year career. To rid myself of this self- imposed obstacle, I am posting many live, uncut saxfinger videos. It's not going to be the musical perfection I have been looking for, but a raw, flawed, real piece of music; "Reality Sax" If you would like me to post your saxfinger You Tube video, of similar or better quality on this page, email me at RobKesig@Saxman.com.

Since I am self-taught in all of my abilities, including web development, I am open to all criticisms and input. I have produced a lot of the music we use but a majority of the backing tracks come from the following websites, as well as anything I can copy, trade, or get my hands-on (Jack Henriquez): Midi-Hits.com, Karaoke-version.com, Smoothjazzbackingtracks.com, MusicRobot.com.. - I use a Selmer Mark VI Tenor with a Dukoff mouthpiece, Yamaha Custom 62 Tenor with a Peter Ponzol mouthpiece and a Yamaha YAS-52 Soprano with a Peter Ponzol mouthpiece. My top saxophonist influences are David Sanborn, Warren Hill, Boney James, Euge Groove, Clarence Clemons and Gato Barbieri. Website development Flashvortex.com. I have evaluated the following programs to be superior: all Cakewalk, Sony and Adobe products. The website saxfingers.com is a place for saxophonists to post close ups of their saxophone abilities.
